The Women’s Veterinary Leadership Development Initiative (WVLDI) invites applications to join the Board of Directors. The vision of WVLDI is to be a strong and impactful voice to harness diversity and create an inclusive professional community. We aim to achieve this vision by supporting women and allies seeking leadership positions. The Board is a group of volunteers (not necessarily women!) who commit to attending the annual meeting at the AVMA and to participating actively in monthly calls. All veterinary professionals are encouraged to apply. Diversity makes us better. The involvement of students, associates, practice owners, veterinary nurses, industry and government veterinarians, and many others will help us achieve a stronger and more sustainable profession.
